I made this card for a couple of challenges. The first is Speedy the Cat's Challenge (http://marksfinestpapers.blogspot.com/). The challenge was to add a hat pin to your card. The second was the Spoonful of Sugar Challenge (http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/). The challenge here was to make a card using only white and one other colour.
The flowers were made by stamping them and then gluing on flock for the outer edge of the flower. For the centre I coloured the circle and then used Ranger's Glossy Accents to get a lovely raised effect.
I realized after I posted this picture that I was actually missing the hat pin for the Speedy the Cat Challenge - duh! So here is the photo WITH the hat pin.
Glossy Accents gave your flowers such a beautiful center! And with the flocking, this is a card that feels as sweet as it looks. :) THanks for sharing it with Speedy's Friends!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Sue! Nice job with the flocking and glossy accents! I WAS looking for the hat pin as I didn't scroll down far enough at first! :)
ReplyDeleteWOW! Flock and glossy accents...what a great idea to add texture and interest to your pretty card! Thanks for joining Speedy's Friends!
